Changing careers can sometimes be daunting, but if you’re not happy doing what you’re doing, it’s a must-do action.
It has to fit well with your interests, aptitudes, work-related values, and personality type. It has to have job duties that you can see yourself performing day in and day out, you must be willing to do everything you must to prepare for it, and it needs to have a good outlook for years to come.  If a career fits these criteria, there is a better chance you will be satisfied with it and enjoy your work. And you wont resent spending so much of your waking hours doing it.

Set Your Goals
Write a Career Action Plan  
Begin with the end in mind with your action plan. What’s your primary goal and ideal timeline?
Train for Your New Career 
Take the time to contemplate what types of educational experiences will help you achieve your career goals. Look within your company, your professional association, your local universities and community colleges, as well as online distance learning programs, to find potential career-enhancing opportunities — and then find a way achieve them.
